Good morning! It’s Monday of Thanksgiving week. We have a short week with Thanksgiving break starting at the end of the school day on Tuesday. Tonight the Bluejay basketball teams travel to Valley Heights to take on the Mustangs. Games tip off at 5:45.
We are also moving closer to November 27th which is “I Give Catholic Day.” We are participating in this day for the first time in the Salina Diocese. Log onto the Diocese website and see how you can make a donation to St. John’s School. I mentioned last week one of the things we need to raise money for is the eventual replacement of the roof on our gymnasium. We are also trying to upgrade our technology with the purchase of more chrome books for grades 1-6. Please make a donation if you can. The Diocese has had an anonymous donation of $50,000 to match donations of up to $1,000. This money is available on a first come basis. What a great way to double your money.
